This is our third suitcase of this design. Actually I have the one without the garment bag. The first lasted very well for over 10 years with very regular use on business trips. The second one looks as nice as the first and works as well. My husband loves how the garment bag inside keeps his suits from wrinkling. I love how it is easy to roll and doesn't get stuck. The monogram makes it easy to distinguish on the luggage merry-go-round.
I've been flying with this bag pretty much every week for the last year and half. Mostly travel "corporate casual" and it keeps shirts and slacks neat, carries extra shoes etc. And, it fits in every overhead compartment, unlike some that my fellow travelers try to use. Zipper got a little banged up on the corner early on, but it's still working.
As always...Great products... I've used this weekly for the past 2.5 years... Holds enough for 4 night trips...light-weight... Only downside...corners take quite a lot of abuse from airline handling and the zipper stiching on both top & bottom corners has un-raveled... perhaps double-stiching with heavier thread would resolve the issue.
I have two other pieces in this line that I absolutely LOVE and was looking for a piece that would keep my suits nice, but in a more compact size. First, I think it's just too small to keep things wrinkle-free. Second, it is a rather heavy piece, probably because of the garment-bag device. Third, the zipper was a bit difficult to use. The bag looks nice, but was not a good alternative to a garment bag. I think I'll just try compression bags.
