How could a person say they love something like a blanket? This blanket is so warm on cold winter nights. I just can't wait to snuggle under it every night, and hate to have to leave in the morning. I'm thinking of getting several more, especially need one for snoozing in my chair, and then need one especially for camping. Order the King, the king is the same size as a queen comforter I purchased several years ago from Bean.
I bought the sage and the blend of colors gives an earthy look and is easy on the eyes. I found that the fabric on this is thicker than a competitors wool blanket that I compared with. It's held up well over the last few months of winter. No noticeable shedding of any sort. Haven't washed it yet so I'm not sure how it holds up in the wash. I think I would buy this again...I'm hoping to get another at some point if L.L. Bean happens to release some in solid colors, perhaps neutral darker shades of brown.
Absolutely love this blanket. The "mineral blue" color combination is far richer and more beautiful than depicted in the pictures on the website. Warm, thick and soft. Queen size fits our 17" deep queen bed perfectly, plenty of length on each side and to tuck in at the bottom while leaving enough to have the covers come up high around my neck if I want. My mother has had a couple of these blankets for a few years and loves them. So glad I now have one, too. Definitely recommend.
I waited until I was 59 to buy my first wool blanket, and am glad I bought this one! The colors are beautiful muted autumnal shades, and the blanket is soft and snuggly. I'm in love with it – perfect for being toasty while listening to the fog horn on chilly San Francisco nights.
