This wonderful blanket far exceeded my expectations! Our weather snapped cold last night, and we haven't started the heat yet. We used the blanket for the first time. It was absolutely perfect! The wool is substantial and provided just the right amount of breathable warmth. The colors are beautiful. The blanket was a great purchase that we'll enjoy for many years. I plan to purchase another one for our guest room. I highly recommend this blanket!
Glad I made the purchase, this is a beautiful blanket. With the nights getting cool, it's warm without feeling heavy. I use flannel sheets as a layer in between, and have no problems at all with the blanket feeling itchy if it touches an arm or leg during the night. I was skeptical as a few reviews indicated a slight odor from the wool, however I have not experienced any odor at all. Would buy again.
This blanket is scratchy, even after washing. Maybe wool never gets soft? From all the rave reviews about its softness I thought it would actually be s o f t. I didn't find that to be the case.
On a positive note, it is very well made and the colors are exactly what I was looking for. Sorry to have to return it, but I need a throw/blanket for the sofa that feels soft to the touch.
