I don't like heavy bulky blankets so I was hoping this was a lighter weight. I was so pleased when it arrived. It's just the right weight but warm. The colors are very true to the website and are very pleasing.

I bought the violet plaid for my king-sized bed and it fits beautifully. The texture and weight of the blanket is perfect and I have washed it without problems. The odor that other reviewers mention is simply that of wet wool and is not a flaw in any way. The odor disappears once the blanket is dried. I love this blanket and will order more. Where else can you buy a great quality, washable wool blanket in such beautiful colors, backed by the incredible LL Bean guarantee? Nowhere!!! Hopefully there will be more color choices in the future...
This is my first wool blanket, and it is very warm and cozy. It is a beautiful arctic blue. The only problem is that it is not wide enough for today's thick mattresses. So I recommend up sizing!
