Lovely colours, and the blanket improves in texture with washing. My only reservation is that I had to wash it before using as it smelled very strongly of chemicals. I had to wash it twice to get rid of the smell, but I have to say it washed really well, and is now ready to use!
The first time we washed it, it had a horrible odor during the wash cycle. (We followed instructions to use cold water and the delicate cycle.) When it came out of the dryer, the smell was gone. Not sure if this is supposed to happen, but other than that, we've been happy with this purchase. It is our first wool blanket.
I love this blanket. I've had it for well over a year and washed it MANY times and it's still as bright as ever. It's warm, but perfect for California winters. I wouldn't use it by itself but with a flannel sheet underneath it is perfect. I shove this into my washer and dryer with no problems! Love it!
Excellent wool blanket! I purchased the blue plaid a year ago and am happy to report that cold sleepless nights are a thing of the past! I layer this on top of my medium weight quilt and sleep soundly all night in the cold winter. My husband loves it too. We like to keep the thermostat low at night. I loved it so much I bought one for my daughter when it was on sale this past summer. Great product at a great price! Thank you llbean.
