We love it. This blanket is warm, pretty, fairly soft, and nicely finished on the edges. We got it in king size for a queen size bed, and glad we did. We no longer have to struggle for coverage during the night from our 2 cats sleeping with us.
It hasn't been washed yet; so I can't comment on this feature.
This is a really nice looking blanket. I'm using it instead of a throw, which are always too small. I prefer wool for warmth during cold winter months; no other fabrics will do. This one covers me and a few dogs! Haven't washed it yet.
