Good Value, January 10, 2009
By ChurchGoingPat from Vancouver WA

"These slippers are very well made. The flannel lining is a plus: comfortable without being too warm. Soles good for those quick dashes outdoors. These slippers will be wearable the year-round."

Great Shoes, February 25, 2010
By gussifer from San Antonio, TX

"The flannel lined handsewn slippers are worth every penny. They are comfortable, warm and look great. They not only work inside the house, but allow me short excursions out. Will definitely order again."

"GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND. HE LIKES THE FLANNEL LINING-NOT AS HOT AS FLEECE. APPEAR TO BE WELL MADE AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE."

How 'bout some support?, February 2, 2010
By Pflightnut from Southeastern US

"These would be a good buy at 40 bucks if they had some arch support or a thin gel sole. They are comfortable for lounging if the house is warm or it's a fall or spring day. The flannel on the old ones may have been more wear resistant than the new ones. I find fleece very hot, so these are the best compromise, even if they are overpriced..."

Great Slippers, January 30, 2010
By Commajockey from Woodbridge, VA

"These slippers are extremely well made, superbly comfortable, and a great deal for the money. I decided to try them after wearing out two pairs of LL Bean moosehide slippers. These are every bit as comfortable; and being made from a slightly stiffer leather, are easier to slip my feet into. (The moosehide slippers are so soft that the heel tends to collapse when I try that.) All in all, a great value."

Problems with lining, January 27, 2010

"I have owned these for about a month and the flannel lining on both is wearing through. The leather outer looks to be well made so maybe I would have been better with a fleece-lined pair."

good but with fatal flaw, January 24, 2010
By jaynm from New Mexico

"These slippers are warm, comfortable, and good-looking. The flaw is that the flannel lining wears out very quickly. When that happens, while the slippers are otherwise in like-new condition, the lining falls apart and begins to get deposited in small pieces on floors and carpets wherever the slippers are removed."

Nice leather slippers, January 21, 2010
By onlineshopperSE from Atlanta area

"I bought my husband a pair of these flannel lined leather slippers several years ago, after buying myself a pair of the same style women's fleece lined ones. Both still look almost new. The leather uppers wipe clean easily. These are quality slippers for the price and sizing seems to be true. The laces are functional and can be snugged or let out if needed. Soles are flat but well padded, and we both love the outdoor/indoor soles for wearing these outside in the yard with no worries. Wouldn't hesitate to order these again."

A Great Slipper, January 8, 2010

"Brought these slippers for my son in laws for Christmas. They were very pleased with their gift and how comfortable the slippers were. Our only problem was that one pair was a little too large and I have had to return. That so far has been a very pleasant experience. I am a first time buyer at llbean but it will not be my last purchase with them."

"These slippers are the only thing that my husband asks Santa to bring him, year after year. They are great quality, nice enough to wear to the grocery, and comfortable. If he did not mistreat them, I am sure they would last several years."

"These are the most comfortable slippers. I bought my husband a pair years ago and he loved them so much he wore them all the time. He wore them for years. He threw the old ones away Christmas morning without knowing ...that he was about to find a new pair I had purchased him under the tree. Still the same ... comfortable...and long wearing. Well worth the money. They are very well made and withstand outdoor use also. He loves these slippers ...When they wear out in years from now...I will be purchasing him another pair! Try them, I'm sure you'll love them too!"

Mens Slippers, December 31, 2009
By Bordercollieparent from Bucks County, Pa.

"My husband loves these slippers.
They're very durable and also
comfortable. I get him a new pair every other year and he wears them
out for quick errands as well as around the house. He has a very wide foot
size and that isn't a problem with these
slippers.
