I am surprised by the number of positive reviews for the Unshrinkable Knit Dress, Long-Sleeve. Given the long sleeves and winter snowflake prints, I expected a heavier weight jersey. This dress is very, very lightweight jersey, so much so that the hems curl up after drying. There are dresses out there that are "beefier" jersey for the price that will wear better. The prints on this faded quickly, too, (I bought 4 dresses: the brown and navy floral and navy blue striped and pink striped) and the dresses looked old before very long. I am disappointed, which is the first time I have not been thrilled with an L.L. Bean product.
This dress is very attractive as well as comfortable. It washes well with only a light iron if you desire. My daughter is able to play in this dress. She loves how soft and comfortable the dress is on her. I highly recommend this dress for a young growing girl.
