This dress is everything I hoped it would be.....it was a gift for a very active 6 year old who loved it. It goes to school and anywhere else ! It fits well to size and washes well.
I loved it. My daughter is 5 but looks like a 7 year old. It definitely is a "generously-sized" dress. But, having said that, it worked out great for my daughter. Nice, soft material and a roomy fit are perfect for the child on the go. The colors in the dress are very vivid and it laundered wonderfully.
Typical of L.L. Bean quality, this dress is well-made, adorable, and accurately sized, with crisp color in the design (which we got in Surf Blue). The fabric is very soft and not too thick. I'm hoping to get a couple more as a staple for my little one this spring, summer, and fall.
This is THE best dress for school. They wash nicely, come out of the dryer without needing to be ironed. They look great with tights and then as they get too short -- the next year, we put them with leggings and they are the BEST dresses. We have them in almost every pattern for our girls!
