I purchased this dress in the snowflake print for the holidays. My daughter has worn the dress very few times and every time I wash it, it fades considerably. I will not let her wear it to school anymore. The fit is great, she loves the comfort of it and it would be a prefect dress if it did not fade so quickly.
We sent this dress to our grandaughter for her 10th birthday. She loved it so much she wore it night and day for 2 days. Her mother finally convinced her it needed to be washed. The dress maintained it's size and shape after washing and she couldn't wait to wear it again.
I bought these dresses for my girls for next fall(we live in the south so probably Nov 2009). I'm not sure about fit because I bought them bigger, but it looks like they are gonna work great. My girls love to wear dresses and these hold up great on a long school day (and on the playground). They look to have the same great quality I've learned to expect with LL Bean.
