My first grader has a few of these, in all the sleeve lengths. It's the best for school, church, over the leotard for dance......perfect and very appropriate for elementary school. She wears the short sleeved ones with a long sleeved tee under it in the winter, extending its life to 4 seasons. Goes with everything from tights, leggings, to flip flops. Washes well in cold water, retains shape and color. Love it!!
If you are looking for a warm, comfy adorable dress for your daughter (or granddaughter or niece or.. etc etc..), this is a GREAT choice! We have several of them and my daughter (age 3) LOVES them. Washes wonderfully and does not need to be ironed in most cases. We always get the short sleeved summer ones too! LOVE THEM!
Really versatile piece - as a dress, over leggings, with tights, even over a suimsuit - that just can't be packed badly. Previously-purchased versions have lasted well thru two kids. As a note, this dress is really roomy from top to bottom - however, if you've got a little one prone to "spin-y dresses" that balloon out, this is a popular choice!
