I ordered two of these dresses for my daughter last year. The colors are bright and pretty, the dress is warm and comfortable. Best of all, they hold up. She plays hard in preK, now kindergarten, and these dresses have been washed often. They still look new. She loves them, and always gets compliments - esp. when paired with the matching tights.
Perfect for my daughter --- this is not her first LL Bean unshrinkable dress. Soft, durable, does not fade and cute-as-a-button on --- I usually get 2 years or more wear by adding leggings as she grows taller.
We love dresses like this. We usually order them from another company, but chose LLBean this time because we liked the color/pattern chioces better. We only have one negative comment about the dress, it is too short. My daughter is very petite. Infact, she is 8 yrs old and we ordered a size 7 dress. She normally wears sz 6 jeans. I always order dresses a size bigger than she is in, so that we can get another year out of them. This dress falls right to her knee, and we would prefer that this dress fall a few inches below the knee. This style dress really should fall a little longer, otherwise, we love this dress. The colors are vibrant and wash well. We don't order often from Bean, but when we do, we are always happy!
Arrived quickly~ really vibrant colors- even more than pictured on the computer~ have not washed it yet, but am sure that it will wash and wear well like all LL Bean!
