Being a Mom who loves to see her girls in cute matching dresses, I've purchased a countless number of LLBean unshrinkable dresses for our girls throughout the past few years. My husband and I have always loved the quality, styling and durability of the knit dresses. We've never been disappointed until now... Simply put, this year's unshrinkable knit dresses are a big disappointment. Do not be fooled by how adorable the dresses look in the catalog or online. I was very surprised by the lack of quality in the stitching and fabric. The fabric didn't feel as durable and strong as I'd expected. Even after a good washing, the dresses didn't feel that same as all of the previous knit dresses. These dresses are definitely not up to LLBean's high standards. They do not compare at all to the unshrinkable dresses from previous years. After reading all the wonderful reviews (which I often do before making a purchase), I ordered a total of 13 dresses for our girls. I would return every one of them if it weren't for the fact that I used hard earned gift card money during LLBean's most recent gift card promotion. I'd lose all of the gift card money:-(

Great Dress but Generous Sizing

I love the look and quality of this dress. I bough a size 5 for my 4 year old daughter thinking it could last - but she is currently swimming in it - so don't buy big!
I purchased this lovely dress for my granddaughter, attracted by the green print. She has a huge froggie collection and is enchanted by the color green. The dark mulberry bodice is a lovely addition to the color thicket in the skirt. The fabric content is truly wash and wear, it holds its color and comes out of the dryer ready to wear. It is perfect for 3 seasons.
