These pants get the stamp of approval from my wife. I actually bought one in every color in both plain front and pleated. They have great feel to them and are a little heavier than other similar slacks. The pockets seem a little small on one pair, but normal on all the rest. I love the change compartment, but use it for keeping my car keys from rattling around. The only downside to the pants is that sand is not that much different than the khaki. I think it may actually be the the khaki is just not dark enough. I am not expecting it to be the "British khaki" or "dark khaki" but it should be about 2 shades darker.
Purchased several pair in past 3-4 years and very satisfied until recently. Recent purchases are of lesser quality, have measurement inconsistencies (waist, length) and in my opinion do not meet what I used to think were high LLB standards.
My high school-aged son cannot wear jeans to school and prefers a chino-type pant. I bought these for him in the fall and they quickly became his and my favorite pair. The wash up well and need little to no ironing. You can get them hemmed to any length which is a god send when you have a thin but tall child. Unfortunately, my son left a pen in his pocket and I didn't catch it so these pants (and some others) were recently ruined even though I tried alcohol and hair spray to remove them (had already gone through the dryer and it was a gel pen!). So I am ordering two more pair. Hope they don't discontinue this style
