I feel the dress chinos when compared to other LL Bean chinos were overpriced and needed constant attention. They exhibited a strong tendency to pick up lint and given the dark color were constantly needing to be cleaned. Perhaps the material is at fault and needs to be replaced with a material that would shed lint easily.
The fit was true to size and the fabric was very comfortable to wear in the Florida heat. At first I thought they were a bit pricey, but they are constructed like better dress slacks. I will buy these again.
