Just because you are a 34" inseam in other pants sold by LL Bean doesn't mean you are a 34" inseam in pants that are hemmed by LL Bean. Fortunately LL Bean stands behind their products! I ordered my husband's regular size in pre-hemmed pants but the ones LL Bean hems are more generous so I had to exchange them for a length 1" shorter. Other than that they look and wash wonderfully.
Purchased first pair for my husband in tan color. Fit was perfect. Ordered second pair 1 week later in olive color. Those were much too large in waist even though same size was ordered. Had to return....go figure. Have always depended on LL Bean for sizing standards. Hope the next pair are right!
I order one or two new pairs a year, and I wear them to work every single day and on weekends. I wash and dry them and they look great, plus they are quite stain resistant. I'll admit one thing: I remove the buttons from the back pockets and tuck in the flaps, because I don't need them for security, and they sometimes get caught when sliding into a car. These are the best pants I have ever owned. I wear them with the Wrinkle-Resistant Classic Oxford Cloth Shirts. Nothing but Bean for me!
