Dress Chinos

I have ordered these pants for nearly 3 decades. The quality & tailoring has been consistent over the years. They wear like Iron! The zipper will wear out before the pants. In time the cuffs will also wear from rubbing the top of your shoes. Nothing more than normal wear!
Overall, you can't do better elsewhere.

DRESS CHINOS
PostedJuly 21, 2009
Take them right out of the dryer, hang them up and you won't have any wrinkles. I won't tell you that they wear like iron but I will tell you that I bought six pair and only one pair showed some wear after a year of use and abuse. The only complaint I have is that I wish they would also come in the color Taupe. The next pair of pants I will buy is the Dress Chinos, Classic Fit. Why buy anything else?

The two pair I recently bought were to replace two pair I bought last August and returned. Last year's two pair already had worn through (with an average of less than once-a-week wear) in the area of the hip pockets, from my (not very thick) wallet and a pocket comb. (I have other slacks from Bean's and other suppliers that are over ten years old with no evidence of similar wear.)
The finish on the earlier ones felt quite hard. The new ones feel much softer, and may hold up better. I hope so, because otherwise they are a great value. The availability of custom lengths at a reasonable price appeals to me since I come in right at a 33" inseam which is never available in standard off-the-rack trousers, leaving me the choice of 32" "flood pants" or 34's that have to be shortened at a cost of $10 or so per pair.
