The material and construction on these pants were great. However, their sizing is about 1" or more short. I ordered 33 waist and they fit the same as my 32 waist pants that I was replacing. Order big.
They wore out VERY fast1 Hole in back pocket in just 7 months. Love the no-iron, pants look great, but the fabric seems to have lost all of its strength with this new finish.
I recently purchased and am using this product in lieu of the regular LL chinos that are no longer up to par. This product is servicable but is really what the LLs used to be with one or two extra features. On the plus side, the extra 1/4 inch in the hem and the decent color selection is good enough to merit an extra $20 from me. Overall they feel good and look good--price is a bit high for this particular material.
These are presumably the same as the dress chino's that LL Bean has had for years. However, there is clearly a decline in the weight of the fabric (and quality?) since the last pair I bought a year ago. While adequate, they are not as "dress" as the earlier ones.
