I've lost count of how many of the dress chinos I've owned. I usually get them with cuffs and really like the look with a sport coat. They keep their color *very* well, and they last better than any other casual dress pant I've tried.
I wear these Dress Chinos to work where neat business casual is required. My work entails travel by automobile, office and shop work. The chinos keep their crisp-look even after I wear them several times. I have both Khaki and Stone and I am considering a third pair. The chinos work well with a blazer, too.
I've purchased chinos from a number of retail and catalog outlets and NONE compare with the dress chinos that I've purchased from L.L. Bean. Having worn chinos sold by other catalog retailers (you know who they are), they simply do not compare with the dress chinos I buy from L.L.Bean. These slacks give me the best overall value. The fit, quality, selection and service are second to none. No one else provides the selection of "odd" sized length and width options and will do custom finishing at no extra charge. I work for a company that has a business casual dress code and wear Bean's dress chnos every day. I have many different colors and styles and before a pair "wears out" I pre-order a new pair in a similar color because I simply do not want to be without them. You've tried the rest now wear the best...dress chinos from L.L.Bean.
The color is more white then khaki. Much too light and does not at all resemble the color shown in catalogue or website. The cuffs are not as sharp and well tailored as they used to be. Still not a bad value, just not the color that I expected (or need for work) or the workmanship that I've grown to love about LL BEAN.
