Nice fit, neck not too loose. However, the first one ordered in bright navy shrunk and I returned it with no hassle; replacement at no charge. Nothing from LLBean ever shrinks; that has been my experience. I'm wearing the 2nd one, haven't washed yet. Have had other pima turtlenecks in previous years that didn't shrink.
Most important basic shirt in my wardrobe. Light weight and shorter length allows for comfortable, attractive layering. Never too warm, yet suitable for cold weather with sweater on top. Washes and wears well.
I ordered 4 shirts but it seems as if they are not the ones I ordered. I am keeping 3 but am not as happy as I could be. I thought I was ordering in the womens dept. but they do not seem to be very roomy.
I ordered two of these; same size. The white one fit like a charm but the black one had sleeves that were an inch shorter than the white. I'm sending the black back because I look ridiculous. Fabric quality is outstanding and I will continue to buy even with this problem because LL Bean doesn't use poor quality fabric like other companies
