I love the lighter green color. It goes with black and brown pants as well as jeans. I washed it before wearing it so I cannot comment as to shrinkage, but the fit does seem a bit small. I ordered the large for it to be roomy and it instead fits well. (I'm ok with that, and my fashionable daughters would be delighted.) Those here mentioning the thinness of the fabric are correct, it isn't a thick fabric, but I bought it as a winter layering garment, worn with a cardigan or beneath a sweatshirt or sweater. It will work well by itself in the spring and fall - it falls nicely at the hip and so far doesn't seem to assume the baggy hanging shapelessness that so many shirts of this type have after even just one washing. So, yes, I'd recommend it.
The sleeves were uncomfortably tight, and I do not have fat arms. The rest of the garment was well made, fit well in the body and the material felt good, but if I cannot wear it.... hence the 2 stars. Seems like LLBean is tightening up on sleeves. Had to return a sweater for the same reason. I am 5'-4" and 118 lbs, Do not have fat arms!
