I needed a pink turtleneck, found this one on sale & grabbed it. I wanted to make sure it wouldn't shrink, so I washed it right away. It didn't shrink. It fits perfectly. I love the color & quality. I'm very pleased.
The fabric and fit of the pima cotton turtlenecks was nice, but the neck was floppy and just didn't look right. I had to send them back. I have these in a v-neck style, which are very nice. I'll have to stick to the v-neck.
Even though the photos show a tighter fit around the neck, going by the reviews (an excellent idea) I decided to try a couple of these turtles in hopes of finding ones that do not choke me. My year+ long search is over! They are very comfortable & the turtle does not interfere with the security badge lanyard I wear for work. Thank you, L.L. Bean!!
Wore my first Pima cotton turtleneck the other day. Love the feel of the shirt and the fit is nice as well. One problem is that as a petite, the shirt's regular size has understandably regular sleeve length. If this shirt had the fitted cuffs, as the less expensive shirt does, it would not present a length problem for us shorties. As it is, I will wear this shirt for dressier events rather than everyday around the house, when I'm washing my hands frequently. (Really hate wet cuffs!) This is a nice, dressier turtleneck. Please gather the cuffs or offer in a petite sizing!
