Please add inches to your tops. I'm short but they are still not long enough. Petite tops wouldn't work and I usually buy petite tops from other sites.
I recently went through my old turtlenecks and sorted them. I'm getting rid of the ones that have gotten faded on the seams and edges, shrunk in length of body and arms, and/or are too tight around the neck. So what's left? Turns out they are the Pima Cotton LLBean trutlenecks I've purchased over the years. So I ordered more to fill in the colors I want. They always look new!
Over the past ten years the quality of the fabric for this item has declined. It's still a good standard light turtleneck, but not nearly as thick as the fabric of the shirt folded beneath it in my drawer from four, six and eight years ago. Clearly they stand up to wear and washings as I have so many in the dresser. Turtlenecks keep my arthritic neck warmer thus warding off spasms and pain, so they are my friends in the cool months!
I am very happy with this product. The fabric is soft but not clingy and the neck fits well and is not too tight. I bought both a black and a green and am glad I took a chance with the green---a good color. I have washed the green shirt and it dried without a wrinkle. Very nice.
