I have 2 of these in Black, and a turquoise in petite, and wish more colors were offered. Ditch the coral rose (too granny) and offer maroon please - MN Gophers color! 5 stars because they're by far my softest turtlenecks. The regular XS is a bit loose for my 5'1" 105 lb torso, however, for me, the sleeves on the petite XS are too short (an inch above wrists). I bought the regular ones in 2014, and the petite in 2013, so maybe that has changed. They wash well and didn't shrink much.
I bought one and loved it so I bought another four. These pima shirts are so soft and comfortable. I did but an ex large even though I take large in pants and the corduroy lined shirts.
The turtleneck neck is loose and does not choke which is another reason I bought so many.
I love these. I do wish LL Bean would have colors that matched, for instance, the corduroy shirts. For instance I would have loved a dark Navy Blue but their True Navy blue was light and more of a soft Royal...kind of ugly. No matter..I will still use this.
I love LL Bean clothing. I am all set for the winter and looking forward to summer clothing.
I have been buying the LLB pima cotton turtleneck for longer than I can remember! It was a reliable product. My winter wardrobe consists of 3 black and 3 white LLB Pima cotton t-necks under everything else that I wear. Last year the one I ordered had sleeves at least three inches longer than in the past. I measured the ones I had, and they sent me one more similar. This year the same thing happened. Somehow, whoever is manufacturing their women's pima cotton t-necks must not be making the sleeve lengths the same. Or else, why could they send me one with sleeves much too long, and then be able to send me a length that I can wear? They do not ask for a sleeve length, like in men's shirts. I think they need to set specifications for whomever manufacturers the prime products they sell. And I firmly believe that, after the Bean Boot, this is a big one!
I have a great collection of LLBean turtles for the winter and have wanted a pink color but a strong pink! This beautiful pink is bright and cheery... so great for weather that is too often gray and cold. It holds the promise of spring!
