Customer with Bean since 1969 and continue to come back for all of my turtleneck, cowl necks, stand up collar neck shirts. The quality is wonderful I have clothes I bought in 1990 after a home fire and they still look so good. I am 5'4" and weigh 165 and wear a large, love my tops a little loose, not tight. I also got my mother one in black in a med petite, she is 5' 130 lbs. Love the free shipping and especially the great customer service!
These turtlenecks are sooo comfortable! The only thing I would like to see changed/added is more snugness at the neck as I like the warmth it adds. These tend to stretch out too much and not stay close to my neck.
I love all your knit shirts made with pima cotton and most recently purchased a turtleneck in this fabric. It's incredibly soft and layers well. My only lament is that it doesn't come in petite sizes. I'm totally converted and plan to purchase additional turtlenecks in different colors.
Love the prima cotton. This is not a heavy turtleneck. This has a smooth, silky feel that looks more refined. Looks good under sweaters and jackets.
A word to L.L Bean - the petal color looks pink in the picture, it is Not. Petal is a soft peach color. You get it home wanting pink and your disappointed. Please make us a light pink.
