I ordered this turtleneck last year and was very disappointed in the fit. Recent reviews are still mentioning that the shirt shrinks and is overall too small. When the sizing is corrected, I will try again.
Wonderful fabric but ... disappointed these favs just keep on shrinking, like the E bunny, until one whole size smaller than originally received.
A "just right" size now will be 1" shorter in length and at least 1/2" in sleeve after 4-6 washings. The old term "Sanforized" seems to be long forgotten for the beloved Pimas.
Love the silky feel of this pima cotton. Great bluish-green color. I'm so sick of the olive greens that recently have been fashionable. But the sleeves on XL are barely long enough and body is hits at high-hip for me - I'm 5'9". After first wash it will be too short - perhaps that's why it's on sale. Back it goes. It will probably work OK for someone of average height.
I hunted around for a yellow turtleneck for quite awhile. Then was very happy to find one at my go-to shopping spot...LLBean. But although this is a beautiful color and lovely fabric, the fit is snug and overall runs small. The sleeves are short and shoulders are tight. A nice T-neck...just buy one size larger than you normally wear.
