Maybe if I had never bought another Pima turtleneck, I would be as thrilled as others here are. But I have, and I'm not.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the fabric weight is much lighter than it used to be, so the product feels cheaper to me. New black one looks fine, but new white one is more see-through.
Pima has a great look and texture, but this product has lost the luxurious-but-comfy feel of my old one. I bought these for a summer cool-weather use; come winter, I will REALLY wish it was made with the old weight.

Sad to say there was only one left in the Maine location but luckily for me it was my size and a good colour, of course it was on sale...my favorite BRAND in everything
I have purchased many of these turtlenecks in most of the available colors which is proof of my high regard for them. They wash well (some I have are several years old and still look good), are ready to wear fresh out of the dryer, and look nice with jeans and casual pants as well as more dressy with skirts for work. The black even works as a dressy top with some nice jewelry for going out at night.
