This is the best turtleneck I have ever bought (and I have bought a lot of them). It is so soft and silky, perfect for layering at work. I actually bought it in four colors, something I almost never do. I hand wash them because I love them so much I want them to last forever.
I love this turtleneck but have only one negative comment - why are women's tops not available in "tall"? The men's are. I am long in the torso so the turtleneck will not stay tucked in when I move around. I find it somewhat of an irritation to always be tucking in my top - and it isn't very professional looking in the office with a stip of bare back showing when I bend and reach.
This was my first purchase of a pima cotton turtleneck, and I love it. I own numerous pima shells, tees and "shirts" (which work as cardigans for me), and this turtleneck is just as soft as the other pieces. The neck is comfortable and the overall length is perfect. The color in my other pima cotton pieces has not faded, so I expect no problems there, either. Works well jumpers or pants. All I would change is a little more fabric in the circumference of the arms, but then I'm a swimmer and it isn't unheard of to have to go up a size to fit my arms.
