Beautiful shirt, nice quality, but too thin. Prefer my turtlenecks thicker and warmer. I have a pima cotton turtleneck from a competitor that is at least twice as thick. However, I have an older LL Bean turtleneck that is my favorite! My have been the Bean's Tee turtleneck? Going to order one of those next.
As described by other reviewers the material is silky soft and buttery. I have never seen such good quality supima shirts anywehere else. I had to return it with a heavy heart because being petite it was too long for me. I wish LLBean would offer more shirts in petite. As of now only one or two shirts are available in petite sizes.
I have alwqys been a fan of LL Bean turtle necks/tees. This year I decided to "splurge" and pay for the pima cotton (still a good price compared to others). I ordered 3 last week and 3 more this week. They are fantastic: soft, almost silky, comfy neck which be rolled "up" for warmth, true to size, nice fit. The colors are also beautiful. They wash without shrinking or fading. I may buy more!
