ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, nicer than ralph lauren
My husband loves these shirts - both long and short sleeved. They are always crisp looking, right out of the dryer. They are very wrinkle resistant for traveling. They hold up well after many washings and look just as nice for longer than much more expensive oxford shirts. I think he has them in all colors offered, replacing much more expensive shirts whose collars have become frayed and are always wrinklled in that area. They are very confortable too.
So this is a cotton shirt that is wrinkle resistant. Very true. It was stiff on arrival so the first thing was to wash it. In my day cotton used to come sanforized. Well, it's still stiff. Pure good cotton shirts wrinkle when washed, and polyester shirts are wrinkle resistant. God, I learned that 40 years ago. So I don't know what they do to the cotton to make them wrinkle resistant and feel like poly, but they are very sucessful. Can't blame L. L., the shirt does exactly as explained. Not to be picky.... but the tatersall design bigger than I am use to. Not as sharp and neat for me personally. It's still cool. Since it was on sale with no shipping charge, I'll keep it. Next time I need a shortsleeve shirt that looks ironed and I want to feel like the Tin Man I snag this shirt. Since it is as dscribed, and I'm sure very good is why I gave it 4 stars. I'm sure the shirt is great for people looking for that very good type of shirt. Yeah, you are probably right....I'll wear it tomorrow, Easter day, and feel darn good about it.
At 5'9" and 160 lbs, this oxford shirt with 15.5" neck is too large around my waist. Otherwise, it's a well made shirt with excellent wrinkle resistant cloth. I will return it but order the trim fit.
