My husband has been wearing LL Bean oxford shirts for 18 years. They fit well and are very durable. No need for ironing if taken right out of the dryer. The material is a bit heavier that previous models but he hasn't complained during this summer. My only suggestion is to expand the colors available to include charcoal or darker colors. Also, the blue color is rather anemic blue not like the previous blues. We are overall pleased with our purchases.
When it says wrinkle-resistant, LLBean means what they say. I hate ironing shirts but this one is a breeze & had I taken it straight out of the dryer, I wouldn't have needed to do anything. And no insignia on the front, which my husband detests.
However, the material is a little bit too heavy for summer. My only criticism!
I have bought several "wrinkle resistant" shirts from other suppliers and all of them require ironing to look smart. This LL Bean product really is wrinkle resistant and looks good after every wash. One slight cavil is that it is on the heavy side for warm weather. Otherwise I am delighted.
