Don't be fooled by its lighter weight because this comforter offers plenty of warmth without the bulk. My bedroom is above the garage area and it can get really cold. This comforter has kept me really warm during the recent cold blast in the Midwest. It easily envelopes me in its warmth because it is soft and pliable yet filled with plenty of down. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.
This is the warmest...this might sound a bit odd..but we returned the warmer one since it was TOO HOT...This one is perfect and we now put our heat down to 50....
I've been searching for a light weight down comforter, and this one is perfect. We keep the temp at 68 in the winter, and this comforter is just right - not too hot, not too cold. The color is a pale yellow as noted in other reviews. It is attractive on it's own, and I am not going to use a duvet cover with it. It's light weight enough to be washed in a home washing machine. The fabric is high quality and looks much better than department store down comforters that I've seen, with their white on white floral design, and their see-through fabric. This is well made, and the stitching looks sturdy.
Very good quality but I would not have purchased this item if I had known that the cotton cover is rather stiff and makes a crackling sound when moved. I wish that one of the reviews would have mentioned this. I would return this except it is a gift from my husband.
