Have owned this comforter for 3 years and have just ordered a 2nd one for our new cabin in the woods. It is the perfect weight in summer and winter, somehow, it just knows ;-)
I am very pleased with this comforter. It's heavy enough for warmth, but the down doesn't shift as it does in the "collar" around the baffle-boxed comforter. I've already given away 2 down comforters because the down shifted and I got tired of shaking them each day to redistribute the down. Now I've finally found one that I expect to keep until it wears out. LL Bean quality is excellent, as always (remarkably little shedding of the down and a nice tight cotton covering). Thank you.
I bought two of these for my kids with two flannel comforter covers. The kids love them! They are toasty warm without the extra heaviness of more traditional comforters. And best of all I can change the cover for something lighter when the weather gets warmer. Also no one has complained about allergies or sneezing while using this product. It is truly hypoallergenic! I would ask that they put ties on the corners to tie them to the comforter cover though........
This comforter is warm without the heavy weight of other comforters. The down stays put, so you do not have to fluff it up everyday. Great value for the price.
