Great comforter, not stifling hot. We used it with Bean's flannel comforter cover in winter & a cotton one in warmer weather. The baffles really keep the feathers from shifting.
I was unhappy with the color of this comforter. It is shown in your catalog as off white, although there is no mention of color.It is definetly yellow. The yellow shows through my comforter cover more than I like. I called thinking the order was wrong,but was told the color I got was the only way it came. I think your catalog should have said yellow or butter cream.
This is our second LLBean comforter -- we had to upgrade to a bigger bed. I wouldn't buy a comforter anywhere else. The goose down stays put, the warmth is perfect, the cover is easy to clean. There is nothing about this comforter that is bad and everything that is perfect!
