These comforters are indeed lightweight and warm. The key is they are not too warm. Most of us have heated houses that do not require deep layers of down. Crazy about the light lemon color with the piping although I put it in a duvet to protect from all the havoc our 2 little dogs create!
This comforter is great. I haven't noticed a single feather sneaking out of the comforter. This comforter isn't too hot for an Alabama winter, but it packs the heat in for a comfortable night's sleep.
The Comforter is great quality, however I wished I had bought a King to fit my Queen size pillow top mattress, it doesn't even fit over the sides of our bed, I'm lucky that my husband hates sleeping with a comforter!!
We love our new light weight down comforter. It is like sleeping on a cloud. Not too heavy or warmso that it is is perfect for our Spring, Summer, and Fall nights. Good job LL Bean.
