i had bought 2 of these and am in the process of returning the 2nd one. The cover is no way downproof. When I take it out of the cover to clean the cover it essentially snows feathers...i'm so disappointed.
The comforter came right before a severe weather storm and was a present for my 94 year old mother. She was delighted and slept with it that night. It is light weight and just the right warmth for her. She loved the soft yellow color!!
I usually like an oversized comforter, we have a queen size bed, and I usually have a king size comforter on it- so I ordered a king size and it is HUGE! Way too big for the bed. Good comforter though, warmer than expected, and the color is weird, but I use a cover with it anyway.
I absolutely LOVE my new comforter. I live on the Texas Gulf coast and got this weight because I'm sure I'll be able to use it year round. I don't know why everyone seems fixated on the color, because it definitely doesn't bother me and besides, I wouldn't consider using one without a duvet. They last a lot longer if you take good care of them. Go ahead, break down, & buy one! You'll be glad you did!
