We have been using the LLBean sofa cover for a few years now and it easily withstands our daily use. It fits well, cleans easily (we have a light color), and looks good. It does need a little adjusting the next morning after a night of tv watching, but a quick straightening and it's good to go (hence the four stars rather than five). For variety we are purchasing a second sofa cover, blue. Very satisfied.
I needed a makeover for my flowered couch and rolled arm chair. I choose the khaki color. They are heavy and came wrinkled, but putting each cover separately in the dryer with a couple of damp towels on high for 15 minutes took most of the wrinkles out. My couch and chair are large so the fit is good. I used 3/4 inch round wooden dowels tucked down in the back and sides that work well to keep the slipcovers in place. I haven't washed them yet. I use just a damp cloth with a bit of dawn dish detergent to clean off a spill. So far I really like these covers a lot.
This looked really good until I washed it and dried it. I actually enjoy ironing (honestly!) but ironing this slipcover was challenging and incredibly time-consuming. In my mind a slip-cover should be easy to throw in the wash and slip back on the couch. This one is not. I said to my husband as I was ironing: "Remind me to never ever wash this thing again. Like, ever!" It's really too bad because otherwise it's attractive and comfortable, but really not practical unless you plan to never use it much or wash it.
I bought these slipcovers for my sofa and love seat. They are a heavy twill fabric and they are so heavy that you have to wash and dry them separately and when you do they come out very wrinkled. Because they are so heavy they are impossible to iron. I even bought a steamer to try to steam them to get the wrinkles out but that doesn't work either. I bought some slipcovers prior to these that were a good fabric that was partially synthetic and so they washed and dried very well with no wrinkles. I have two dogs and two cats and must wash my covers frequently. I wish LLBean would bring back the other covers.
