I order the chair cover and the sofa cover (in denim) and I love them both! There were no directions, but after some tucking and fitting they completely changed the look of my room. I also order some of the pillows that appeared with these covers in the catalogue and they look great. It is kind of a shabby chic look - casual - if that is what you are going for. Sure does beat $1000-$2000 to have everything recovered.
I ordered this because I trusted that llbean would choose fabric heavy enough for wear and tear w/o wrinkling or tearing. In that I was not disappointed. It still looks new after several months of jumping and sleeping dogs. I wished instructions had come with it. You'd think it would be easy to figure out how to put it on the couch, but I've had a lot of trouble and still am not sure it is on properly. No instructions whatsoever came with it! Bad policy for someone who has never used a slipcover before.
Fist it is not easy fit. It is messy fit. Look at the picture of the chair. If you are using it on the same chair I am sure it will be fine. If you are buying one for a couch then forget it. It is poor quality and does not look nice at all. Also, guess what-no directions. You would think you would just put it on and tuck it in. No you need to tangle with 6 straps that you need to figure out where they go. Not LLBean quality
I ordered the small sofa striped slipcover for an 84" sofa. I was not sure whether the small sofa or large sofa cover would be a better fit, as 84" is the break point for the two sizes. When the item arrived, I delayed putting it on thinking it was going to be a major task. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it went on fairly easily. The material is a nice medium weight and has a comfortable soft feel. The small sofa size is definitely at the limit for my 84" sofa, but I suspect that the large size would have had a cumbersome amount of extra fabric to tuck in. The green stripes are attractive. The price is a bit high, but acceptable. Overall I am pleased. The cover is more attractive and comfortable and easier to put on than I expected.
