"Do not be deceived by appearance--item really works as advertised. We have 3" thick mantel & hangers hung without scratch marks and holds stocking stuffed full. They are also lightweight so easy to pack."

"These are great for "stockings hung by the chimney with care"! They are reasonably priced, support a lot of weight, don't leave a mark like a nail hole, and don't hurt if they get pulled down on a curious toddler!"

"I was very pleased when I received these Wooden Stocking Hangers. They are very nice looking and seem to be well made. I have not liked the stocking hangars available elsewhere that have only a Christmas theme. These hangars would work at any time of the year for hanging various objects from your mantel. They have good balance and will hold anything I put in the Christmas stockings."

"We have a very wide mantel and these work perfectly. Last year, my toddler daughter pulled on a stocking and pulled one the traditional heavy metal holders on top of herself. These are lightweight so no safety concerns this year."

"These are just great! They are lightweight and blend in with with any decor. If the stocking hanger gets knocked off the mantle (say by the cat), it wont hurt my son if it falls on him! Just what I have been searching for all these years."

"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, these hooks. I bought two sets and now need another set as a new baby is on the way. They hold the Christmas stockings perfectly and also when the stockings are full. I like how they are low profile and are neutral enough to go with our Christmas decor. We had shelf sitting hooks before these and they were always being knocked over and could not withstand the weight of a filled stocking. Great find!"
