I have this bag in leather. The color is Cordovan. What a versatile color -- it literally goes with everything! The bag holds A LOT of things. There's a zippered compartment in the middle and a vast amount of space on both sides. I've carried sweatshirts and other large items in this bag and there is still room for more! The only thing I'd change: the straps are about 23" long and are a bit short if I place this over my shoulder when I've got a bulky coat on. No coat or a light sweater and it is fine. Of course, I suppose if the handles were much longer it would drag on the ground when holding it with my hand!!! Especially since I'm only 5'1".
Please do not discontinue this item. I love, love it. It is comparable to my high end leather bags I've paid much more for and carries everything. I'm going to order it in different colors. It has a great style and is holding up really well with my daily use of it. I haven't changed bags since I got it Christmas. Please add metal feet to it. Especially to keep the stone color out of the dirt zone when setting down.
My SO bought this for me and I have used it non stop for the last four months, and it looks like I just took it out of the bag. Stains brush off, there is room for everything the family needs, and lots of zippers, bells and whistles for the organizationally challenged. I will buy another one exactly like it when this one wears out (and I encouraged my mother and mother in law each to buy one). Highly recommended.
