I have the brown one of this one is really nice. I've been waiting to see if they would put this one on sale and the larger one. Also have been hoping for LLBean to make one that's between this size and the larger one. It could do with the handles to be a little bit longer, so it can go over coats.
I hate to change purses!! I wanted a purse that would last for years and has a guarantee if it doesn't! so I searched online with LLBean. I few of the reviews worried me but I thought I would give it a try since I knew I could return it, if needed. I LOVE IT!! My black mini tote fits my needs perfectly. The phone pocket, side sleeves for ID and credit cards, and zippered compartments help me organize--and there is plenty of room left for everything else I need to carry. I live between two locations and carry lots of keys on five key rings so the middle zippered compartment holds all of those keys. I use the side zippered pocket to help me find the keys I am needing for the day--unzip a couple of inches and put the key ring inside with the keys outside the pocket and they are always easily found. I plan to use this purse for years!! When I see a good sale on the larger tote, I plan to get it, too!
The bag just arrived. I was disappointed. In the photos - 1 view shows a dark brown leather and the other photo shows a lighter tan. I was hoping for the darker , but sadly its the light tan. The leather, although nice and soft, has that almost suede like matte finish. In my experience, real leather with a finish like this marks up easily (whereas a synthetic tends to resist marks but not the same quality). I'm not going to keep it to find out, but it would be good if someone whose had it for 6+ months would comment on its resistance. Also, I have narrow shoulders but still the handles are not long enough to comfortable.
