Sturdy contruction, plenty of room, and things don't fall out. However, it is difficult to close the snap, it is very awkward, because the leather is so stiff. Also, it is difficult to find a place to clip on a cell phone, the Designer forgot about carrying a cell phone.
Overall I liked the bag, but because one of the leather straps broke after only a few months, I cannot recommend it. Happily, the LL Bean store was nice enough to take it back even though I didn't have the paperwork anymore.
