I love L.L. Bean's products, particularly their boys clothing - as they are durable and generally speaking fit quite well. Unfortunately they have failed me this time. My 17mo son has a somewhat small waist, and I am very shocked that these jeans do not come with the adjustable waist tabs! Though even if they had, I'm not entirely convinced they would fit. Maybe a slim fit? These seem to be better suited as a "husky" fit. Otherwise, they seem warm and well made, just not for a little one.
These are well made jeans that are perfect for keeping little legs warm. Only thing that could make them better would be an adjustable waist for the thin child. The waist is too big for thin ones.
the double lined jeans were listed as 'toddler' size 3. Upon receiving them, I discovered that the lining was "pink" and green not red and green as shown. This caused a bit of a problem as they are for boys and I bought the large size as I envisioned being able to roll them up at the bottom...
