Was looking for a children's light weight jacket to protect them from the rain and wind. This jacket is perfect. My grandson doesn't like a heavy weight jacket, he likes a shell-like jacket and this item fit the bill. This jacket can be used for layering, protection from the morning cold, or on windy or rainy days. It's difficult to find light weight jackets that protect you from the elements. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered this jacket in navy for our almost 8 year old daughter. My husband was concerned that the color would look too "boy-ish" for her, but it really is great for a girl...or boy. I wanted a rain jacket that would get use for Spring, chilly Summer evenings and into the Fall, and this does not disappoint. Even on days where the temp has been 40 degrees outside, she stays warm with just a light sweater underneath. It also matches quite nicely with her Bean's Wellies that are navy with green polka dots. The quality is so nice, in fact, that I ordered the orchid color one for our 18 month old just this morning. Thanks LL Bean for yet another wonderful product!

This is such a great jacket! It is lightweight and breathable. Adjustable cuffs work well for arm length . . . and the hood is wonderful to protect from windy or rainy weather. I purchased 3 jackets(one for each grandchild). The orange color and lilac colors are rich and cheerful for little kids without being overdone. Love them!
