One item that is on my husband's Christmas list every year is LL Bean's Fleece Socks. There is no imitation. He prefers them in the rebellious leopard pattern (to show his wild side), but any color will do! These are his favorite socks: lightweight, warm, dry, and fit perfectly. Albeit they eventually tear holes in the heels; that may be because he wears them every day all winter long! When they do, he can't bear to throw them out so he cuts out the feet and uses them as ankle warmers! He doesn't care, because he knows Santa will bring him more...
I ordered a pair for myself and for a gift. What a pleasant surprise that my hard to fit feet fit perfectly! I wear a woman's 11 shoe and have a somewhat narrow foot, and the large size fits like a glove. They are thick and plush, even after multiple washings. The extra bonus is that when I wear them inside shoes they don't slip down into the foot like some other fleece socks I have. I plan on buying more.

I love these socks. I wear them most with my Birkenstocks for a unique casual look that keeps my feet warm. No problem getting them on - they go on easily and are not slouchy. They also fit inside my leather boots for extra warmth and I like the fun patterns that they come in. I think I will end up wearing these everywhere. Also great on the feet in bed for cold nights!
