Bought four pairs based on excellent customer reviews. I don't like wearing shoes in the house but don't like cold feet either. I love the fun designs and they are definitely warm! Not pleased with the fit, however--too much fabric in the foot area; but not enough width at the top to pull all the way up, even though I have slender ankles. These two things combined make for a sloppy fit.
Absolutely loved the socks. I thought they would be too bulky absolutely not true. They are very comfortable and extremely warm. I love them. I will be giving them as gifts.
I've gotten these before for family members and decided to get a pair for myself this Christmas. I've been wearing them ever since. My daughter wore hers to bed on Christmas Eve and had warm toes all night long. They keep your feet warm and dry, aren't itchy at all, and wash and dry very nicely. I'm getting another pair.
Love these socks... for years I got something similar from another store but when they changed the way they made them I could no longer get them over my foot... tried and tried to find them again and finally success here at L.L. Bean! Got 3 pair to start and then placed an order for 12 more. Now I'm back to order some more... I'm not gonna get stranded without back-up supplies for Winters to come.
