I have been using these sheets for about 3 months. They have some pilling in the most heavily used areas, but I do toss a few times in the night. They are warm and a medium thinkness. Overall I like them and will probably get a few years of use from them.
right out of the plastic bags these sheets were rough to the touch, I would not recommend anyone buy these sheets, I have several pairs of the regular solid flannel sheets they are absolutely fantastic, these sheets are terrible compared to them, I'm a long time customer and I have noticed over the last 5 or 6 years the quality of LLBean price has gone downhill big time, but yet they're still charging you the same prices they've always charged except now you're getting a lesser product, if it's not made in USA I would not recommend buying it, because I've noticed some of the LL Bean stuff is now made overseas and they're just not the same, not as good of quality they used to be
I purchased solid color ultrasoft flannel sheets and thought they were the best flannel sheets I ever bought. So......why not get them in another color. Ordered these striped ultrasofts assuming they would be the same softness. Wrong! The striped sheets are not that soft and actually feel scratchy on my feet (the fitted sheet). Could tell there was a difference when I washed these; there was hardly any pilling or lint in my dryer lint catcher. With the solid color sheets, the lint catcher was full. So these stripes are not the same. Stick with the solids and you won't be disappointed.
I previously ordered these sheets in plain colour and have added the stripes to be able to mix and match. They wash and dry very well with no shrinkage, resist pilling, and are nice and cozy to get into bed on a cold night! My only complaint -Wish LLBean had kept the Atlantic blue shade from last year instead of changing the colour to a royal blue.
