After using it for almost a month, I feel comfortable saying it is one of the best bags I have owned. Gone through a lot of purses that just didn't "carry" right. I don't have to hunt endlessly for what I need and the compartments are conveniently placed. This is one I hope LL Bean has available for many years to come!
Although the bag meets my standard for quality, it does not serve my purpose. It doesn't have enough compartments. The old bag I purchased some time ago is perfect, and the canvas is much more suited for what I carry. I am a retired police officer and I have a Federal Handgun Carry Permit, and I need space for a gun. The old bag is perfect, the new one is just too soft. I will be returning it to the Columbia, MD store. Thanks for allowing me to write this memo.
This shoulder bag is perfect for holding all you need to bring. I use it every day and it fits with my casual look. I would tell anyone to purchase this bag.
The sunwashed canvas shoulder bag is an excellent size. I returned it because I wasn't in love with the tan color. (Should have listened to a previous review saying there was a green hue to it). I will buy it again when it is available in black or gray. Also, in order to make the bag appealing to the masses, I would suggest taking the leather trim off. And finally, I would add several pouches inside to accommodate pens/pencils, cell phone and keys.
