This bag is fabulous. It's the right size - not too big, not too small - and has enough pockets, etc., to stash things away. Although another reviewer worried me a bit about the clasp, I have had no problems with mine at all. It's also a very crisp looking bag. I find $45 a real bargain for a bag of this caliber!
I used this bag as a purse during a 10 day trip to India. There are 2 zippered pockets covered by the flap as well as an additional interior zippered pocket which was large enough for my passport and small wallet. There is an external pocket on the back that closes with velcro and was great for maps and brochures. It was roomy enough for my SLR camera, sunglasses case and more. Had I tried, I probably could have fit a small bottle of water inside as well. The shoulder strap was long enough to comfortably wear across the body rather but since I'm petite, it was too long to simply wear over the shoulder. Great bag for traveling.
I am glad I decided to try this shoulder bag after using backpacks for the last few years. It is roomy enough to hold all the items I seem to need on a daily basis, yet doesn't feel like I'm lugging around everything but the kitchen sink. It does hang a little long for my height but doesn't put all the weight on the pressure point in my shoulder from the backpacks.
