This bag is a great one. My daughter had been using hers for several years and it had gotten quite worn (and torn). I ordered her a replacement bag with her three initial monogram. When the bag arrived, the third initial was incorrect .... it was supposed to be an "M" but it was stitched as an "I." It looked as if the sewing machine thread had either snapped or run out. Apparently nobody looked at the bag before packaging for shipment as it surely would have been detected.
This was a disappointing experience to say the least.
An LL Bean service rep handled reordering for me, complete with the monogram information. The replacement bag arrived in a few days and it is perfect.
I am going to a UPS shipping point to return the defective bag so my credit card is credited for the initial purchase.

This shoulder bag is great; it is the third color I have purchased over the years (wish it were offered in a few more colors). It is very sturdy and stylish, and I have room for everything I need to carry - my glasses, husband's reading glasses, wallet, change purse, small cosmetic bag, and other things. I like that I can personalize it with my monogram. This shoulder bag is extremely sturdy and I have never worn one out; I like to get a new color every two years or so. I love this bag and hope they continue to sell it for many years.
